Working with NX11 and using the GM "GPDL Tool Design (KBTD)" Tool kit, we are experiencing an issue where the Bill of Materials (BOM) button is causing NX to crash.
What we have found is it seems to come down to the largest detail which is the FRAME (mostly steel tubing and some plates) is causing the issue. If the Frame is on layer 1 when we run the BOM, it all runs good, but the BOM ignores the frame. If we place the Frame on a layer where GM standards wants it to be, when we run the BOM, NX will crash and shutdown with no warning.
I am unsure at this point if it is something to do with an attribute, if it is the amount of solids, if it doesnt like multiple tubing solids, or what.
Today was our first day with fully switching over to NX11 and this seems to be the biggest issue at the moment. Has anyone else had to deal with this and already knows what the answer is?
