NX11 - Roles

I had read once in the past that starting in NX10, they were supposed to make it so that when you saved your role, it would save the layout of the Navigators as well. We moved from NX9 to NX11 and so far I dont see that happening. I just saved my role, then loaded up a completely different looking role and it didnt change the navigator columns shown at all. Just to double check, I change the columns some manually and loaded my good role back up and it didnt fix it.

Is this something that should be happening or something they never actually fixed? Or is there a setting somewhere I need to make a change to start saving the Navigator layouts?

It is a long standing issue that we are not able to specify what columns should be visible when a new user starts NX for the first time.
To my knowledge this is still only possible through Registry manipulation, which i like to stay away from as long as possible...

Well it turns out I was remembering wrong. It was a reply to the same problem back in 2015 where JohnRBaker had explained some of the things that were updated in NX10 about the Navigator settings but that the columns that load still were not saved. As time went on, I started twisting it in my mind that the columns would be saved I guess. lol

Oh well. I wonder if enough people were to put in a request if they would add this change to the next version. lol
