I am new to here and just started using NX3 for the first time since V18.. I'm slowly coming up to speed on my own and see the differences in NX3. But today I have come across an interesting problem.

If I draw lines using the "lines and arcs" toolbox, they will not go into sketcher when using the "Add existing curves" when I am inside the sketcher environment.. But if I draw anything using the "Basic Curves" method, they all can be selected when using the same "Add existing curves" tool...

So my question is , Is there a difference between "lines and arcs toolbox" and "Basic Curves" in the UG Moeling environment.

PS:Thanks guys for reading this.. And I've seen quickly on this site that most of you are Gurus to me for sure , and I the student have read your posts all week to make me stronger ...

I believe, that "lines and arcs" are the new parametric curves, where as "basic curves" are the old non-parametric curves.

Everything should be designed as simple as possible, but not simpler.
