NX4 error - "Part file is from a newer version of NX" when opening

I haven't worked on a group of files in a year, but nothing has changed.
- my UG is the same (NX 4)
- I did not install any updates
- I did not work on these files on another computer
- I get the same error for ALL of my UG files
- I am using 400 Mb of memory out of 1,600 available
- I have the same UG setup on two different computers...same error on both computers.

When I try to open a file, the error I get is
"The following files could not be loaded causing this open to fail...Part file is from a newer version of NX than this one"
That is not true. I've always worked in NX4.

After I get this error and cancel out, then try to open a blank "New" file, I get the "memory access violation" error.

Any help?

Have you installed a service pack/maintenance release to NX4? There was some talk that you willget this error on a certain combination of MX4 releases.

I installed a "maintenance release" & "maintenance pack 10". Now, it doesn't even start up. I get an error box saying, "file nx_electrodedesign.dpx could not be found".

It used to start up, but now it doesn't.

I've verified on a co-worker's desk that the files are not corrupt.


Any help?
