Hi all, Great Forum. I am relatively new to unigraphics (3yr solidworks 10+ autocad)
We're using nx4; I like to work with a sectioned, shaded model. When i create an additional sketch i cannot see my geometry as i construct it. Does anybody else have this problem? Is it ug related or video card? It works fine in solidworks that's why i'm asking. Thanks in advance

If while working in the sketch, you look normal to the sketch plane you should be able to see the curves, if you're looking at an oblique angle, it might be hard to see as the curves are being clipped by the visual section.

In later versions of NX (I just checked NX 7.5) this appears to no longer be an issue, since I can see the sketch curves clearly no matter how oblique an angle it is that I'm viewing the model from.
