NX5 & NX7.5 Slooow to update

I have a large assembly which was created in NX5. Whenever I make any small changes, it can take 5mins to update. It seems to be updating every feature in every part in the assembly. Recently updated to NX7.5 with windows 7,12g ram, 64bit... but it hasn't made any difference.

Any suggestions?

Have you refiled your parts to 'upgrade' them to NX 7.5? If not, NX will go through a conversion process each time you open them.

Yep. I have refiled everything. Problem was there in NX5 before update.
