Hi,
Please see the attachment, illustrate the simple assembly and component file. If I want to move the cylinder from its position to any edge point of the block using edit-transform non associative option, I can't select any point of the block edges. My question is, since I am using non associative transformation, why can't I select the component edges.
Even if I use the Instance geometry with non associative settings, I will be facing the same problem. why is it so?
(I know it can be done using WAVE geometry linker)

Sorry, small correction(purely overlook). It is working under edit - transform function but not under insert-associative copy-Instance geometry with Associativity option off.

If you're moving Components within an Assembly, you MUST use an Assembly function, such as Reposition/Move Component. Components have never been supported by Modeling move/copy functions.
