I have read a few post on NX6 arrangements and have not found the answer that I was hoping to see... When an arrangement is created at assy level A, then I add Assy A to Assy B, but do not create a new arrangement in Assy B to carry up the arrangement from Assy A. If I add Assy B to Assy C, I can change the arragement in Assy A through the ANT, but it will not save because I am making a change to a sub-assy of a sub-assy. Is there a way to "Override Arrangements" so that you can change the Arrangement of Assy A while working in Assy C, and have the change save with this file only? Similar to Override Position? Continueing to carry up the arrangement through every assy level is not very efficient when you use arrangements for many parts....Any Tips or Tricks out there on this.

Thanks,
Billy

Not that I'm aware because the CHOICE of which Arrangement is used is the responsibility of Assy B and Assy B alone. Assy C is merely reflecting what Assy B is has already decided it do. The reason that we allow you the ability to edit this situation using the Assembly Navigator if basically because we can, and so we do.

Thanks John. Arragements are very handy, it just seems like this would be the next step for them.... If you revise a standard base level assy to add arrangements, you can't get the benefit of this improvement at the top level assy until you revise all sub-assy's. --- Thanks again, Billy
