Does anyone know how to chnage the borders of a drawing in NX6 and create a template after.

You should be able to find information about this in some of the other posts around. That said, one easy thing you could do is to start by making a local copy of the templates shipped with NX6 ( ..\UGS\NX 6.0\UGII\templates), then editing the appropriate ones you want. To access the borders, you need to make sure that the appropriate layers (ie: Layer 256) are editable and not just visible.

The keywords are pallets and patterns. I found this so cumbersome and the results so unreliable however (sometimes it loaded, sometimes it didn't, sometimes it updated, sometimes it didn't), that I decided to draw a template using ordinairy curves. Save it as a part file. And then simply import it in the drawing. It is not linked, so once it's there, it's there. But then again, I wasn't able to get it linked to a master anyway.
