I needed to create a drafting customized standard in my NX6 customer defaults (File ? Utilities ? Customer Defaults ? Drafting ? General ? Standards).
The problem is that I cannot bring any part of that customized standard into anybody elses NX session.
When I import the customer defaults file that I saved into another person's NX session it brings everything in nicely except what is part of the customized standard.
The documentation was rather vague on what to do, but it does say that I need system administrator privileges, but what to do from there I'm not quite sure.
How can I bring a drafting customized standard from my NX6 customer defaults onto another person's NX session?

When you 'customize' one of the Drafting standards in the Customer Default task, two new files are created in the folder where your customer default changes are saved. You'll recognize these files as they will have imbedded in their names the 'name' that you used when you performed the 'Save-As' at the end of the Customer Default editing session where you made the changes to the Drafting standard. These files will carry a .dpv and .xsl file extension. Take these two files AND the customer default .dpv file, and share these with your other users to get access to the same modified drafting standard.

I went through something similar a while back, you may find this thread useful: thread561-274804.
