I was playing with some settings, and I screwed up how my resource bar appears.
The resource bar now goes from bottom to the very top of the NX window - previously it went from the bottom of the NX window to below the tool bars.
How can I make my resource bar to only to the bottom of the tool bars?
I have attached an image.

NX version ?
Try Preferences - User Interface - Layout - settings - Reset Window position. ( NX6)
You also have some settings for the resource bar in the same tab.
You can also try a different Role and see if that helps.

Thanks for the input Toost, but resetting the window position didn't do it, and toggling between roles and that didn't do it either.
I am on NX6

try the registry:

you can delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\NX\6.0
which will remove all the settings for NX6 or delete

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\NX\6.0\Layout

which might contain the specific problem.

Select Tools ..... Select Customize ..... Go to Layout Tab ..... Set Docking Priority to Vertical

Changing that setting might help

Yes, that should take care of it. It also means that messing with the registry, at least in this case, would have had no effect whatsoever.
