Hi,
I am wondering why I can't create another Break Out Section, using the rectangle profile (please, see the attacher NX file)!
I didn't have any problem in creating the previous Break Out Section (on the upper right corner of the view, on which I used a spline ).........!
What mistakes have I done?

Thanks

Select the view, press MB3 and pick the 'Active Sketch View' option. Now sketch your rectangle and use it for your 'Break-out Section View' boundary.

Thanks a lot!
May I know why regular curves can't be used for a Break Out Section?

Should I learn that only sketch and spline can be used for Break Out Section operation?

It does not matter what type of curves you use, but you must create them IN the view to section. That is what the "Active Sketch view" does, it activates the specific view and the curves are created relative the coordinate system orientation in that view. RMB the view border before creating the ( basic) curves / spline etc and select "expand". The resulting curves will then be created "view dependent" and thereby only be visible/ selectable in the original view.
