NX7.5 Hatch Section at 45 degrees

When I create a 2d cross Section of my 3D model at 45 degrees, the hatch in the cross section view is locked ( GREYED OUT) at 45. I can not change the hatch angle. I would like the hatch to be at 90 not 45. Please view pic.
It is probably a simple switch but I can not find it.

How are you creating the section view? The normal way?

Yep in drafting it is a normal section view at a 45 degree angle. The view is at the same angle of the cross section. Thanks

Select the section view, press MB3, select the 'Style...' option and in the 'Section' tab on the View Style dialog, toggle OFF the 'Assembly Crosshatching' option. Now you can go back and edit the angle of the Crosshatching in that Drawing view.

Crud that was easy. I saw that option but I assumed it turned the hatch off in that view. Thanks for the feedback.

The purpose of that option is that when you're sectioning an assembly, or anytime there are multiple bodies, with this option ON the system will automatically assign different angles to each of the multiple crosshatch patterns in such a way that the parts can be easily distinguished from one another. Of course, that means that the Crosshatch 'angle' is under the control of the system and NOT the user. Toggle it OFF and now the user is in control.

Note that the default state of this option is under the control of the Customer Default settings for each of the various drafting standards and can be found at...

Drafting -> General -> Standard -> Drafting Standard -> View -> Section.
