Hello,

I have problem with selection curves for extrude or revolve.
I create extrude with sketch internal.
When I end drawing sketch in selection window is "Feature Curve".
But when I edit this exrude in selection window is "Region Boundary Curve" and if I add elements in sketch, I must manually select this object or change type of selection, deselect all object and select sketch.
In early version of NX this problem doesn't exist.
Mayby somebody knows what I must change for correct work?

Best regards

Michal

I do not know of how to fix this but,
If you have the case described, after performing a change to the sketch, right click one of the curves of the sketch and select "feature curves" , all curves of the sketch should then become selected.
(i.e no de-selecting / manual selecting)
And,
you can in the customer defaults set the default selection intent method for extrude etc.
File - utilities - customer defaults - modeling - selection intent rules etc.

Tomas

Hi,

thanks for answer, but,

If I make like You describe - I have double selection elemenets of sketch. I must deselect these all elements, case "feature curve" and select one curve od sketch.

In customer defaults I set this selection.
When I make new extrude in case window I have "feature curves" but it work like Region Boundary Curves, and when I edit this in case window I have "Region Boundary Curves".

I can't understand this: If I wonna use "Region Boundary Curves" I can select it. I want use "feature curves" and this work like diffrent options.

Best regards

Michal
