NX8.5 Simulation

Hello,

I am currently simulating an engine with working pistons, camshaft,rocker arms etc. The problem is that I have set the simulation to run for 30 seconds with 300 frames. This was working for the full 30 seconds but now it is only working for 5.9 seconds and is stopping.

Does anyone know why this is or how I can solve this problem?

- Try run the Solve again.
- If you play with the articulation option you are actually writing a results file which can be played / animated.
- how long is the complete cycle of the mechanism ? 30 seconds in total ? (!) And then only 300 frames during 30 seconds ? ( 10 fps) Most simulations i have done has rather been say 1-5 seconds and maybe 20-60 frames per second.
