NX9 measure using turning IPW 1

Hope someone can help

In NX7.5 (Manufacturing - Turning) you are able to measure a distance using using the IPW
This does not appear to work in NX9 and cannot find the preference setting to do this in NX9
Nothing is highlighted when hovering over IPW
Screenshot is using one of the NX7.5 turning examples from training

Is this function still possible in NX9 or has it been lost during the update ?

You need to turn on Select 2D IPW

Unfortunately, I seem to have to do that every time
I open the part.
