NX's CAM Spindle Not Spinning during Simulate Machine

Hi,

Why there is no value for spindle RPM during Machine Simulation? The spindle is spinning when I click play button but under Simulate Machine panel, it shows "Speed?".

For your information, I already defined the spindle speed's RPM for this operation (turning operation for 5-ax lathe machine) and all animations are works and turning process is working well. Thanks.

What is the output mode in the Feeds and Speeds dialog? SFM? SMM? RPM?
If not RPM, do you have a Max RPM set?

I choose RPM for the Output Mode. Then I checked the Spindle Speed and my RPM value is 70 and the feed rate is 0.4 mmpr as shown below. The diameter of the part is 1.2 meters.

1) Before turning process.

2) During turning process (please note that the table is spinning).

3) Machine Simulation panel during process (the speed is unknown)

It looks like you have the obvious stuff correct. I would talk to GTAC, or ask in the discussion forum in the Siemens Manufacturing Community - there are a log of ISV experts there.
