Nylon 6.6 chemical resistance on hydrogen sulfide gas

I'm planning to use a nylon 6.6 compression latch (with stainless steel shaft) to compress a filter access door on a duct.

Hydrogen sulfide gas flows at 30 ppm (room temperature) before being filtered by a scrubber down the line.

I've originally planning to use stainless steel latches but due to it's long time time and high cost, I'm thinking if Nylon 6.6 latch could be used as an alternative.

Any help on this is much appreciated.

Thank you.

With nylon I would be more concerned with moisture. Some nylons really soak up water and the properties go to hell.
In the long run you will get some degradation. Any oxidizing chemicals will degrade it eventually.
