Hi All,
I have a situation where I'm treating a lighter structure on top of a much heavier structure as a Part for seismic loading.
My question is what I ought to consider as the height of the attachment of the part (hi) when determining CHi?
I understand that for precast panels for example, you actually have a trapezoidal load distribution as the seismic load increases as you go up the panel. I just can't see how I should treat it for my case?
Thanks,
