I have to check the strength of an existing frame composed of two driven prestressed piles connected by a poured tie beam about ten feet above MSL and subject to hurricane force winds and waves.

Does anyone have any expertise in calculating the force of such a wave against the flat surface of the piling?

Your help would be much appreciated.

You will also want wind and wave data. If no wave data is available, you can use hindcasting.

Regards.
