I've been trying to offset a group of edges to a sketch, and noticed that it's not showing the offset geometry until I finish the command. And then if it's the wrong direction I have to undo and redo with the directional check box oppositized to what it was. I have a memory that it used to shadow the new geometry before completing the feature, where I would fill or clear the checkbox as needed. So #1 is my memory failing me on this and that I am confusing solidworks with an inferior software? Or #2, Is there a switch in the options that I haven't been able to locate that would turn on that ability?
And yes, I have updated my Graphics Card driver to one that the SW Gods passed with flying colors.

[li]Hate to ask the obvious but are you in a sketch before you try to offset the edges?[/li]
[li]Is the offset too large that it would fail? Try a smaller offset and see if the preview shows up.[/li]
[li]Instead of picking all the edges at first pick only one and see what happens.[/li]
[li]I have seen times when I pick all the edges and it wants to offset some one direction and others in the opposite and it will cause the feature to fail.[/li]
[li]Sometimes the recommended driver doesn't work on your PC, to rule that out go to the RX and launch SW in Open GL mode.[/li]

These are the first things I would try.

Hope that helps,
