I am analyzing the procedure of a contractor for the measurement of potentials (CIPS) of an offshore pipeline. The pipeline is located on the seabed at a depth of approximately 30 meters. The methodology already contracted consists of the measurement with cable "towed fish". The question I have is regarding the procedure after a cable cut. The contractor proposes to use the remote electrode methodology but I am not sure it will apply with the use of the towed fish (without ROV). What other methodology can I propose? any normative or bibliographic references?
Thanks!
