OH Number

Hi,

I would like to Know if there´s a faster method to check OH number of a polyester resin than the pyridine´s method (that takes 1 hours to be completed).

We use both the volumetric and coulometric analysis on polymers. It has been somewhat automated by using instruments from Mettler.

A technical explanation is beyond my level of expertise and any attempt would to explain the principle behind the method would have all the analytic chemists in the world after me. I could cookbook it but that would be a disservice to all.
