I have an air/oil separation application that is not specific to a compressor that I am trying to find a suitable part for. I am looking for a flat (air conditioner type) filter that could be used in this
application. Anyone aware of any products that would meet this criteria or are most of these types of parts cylindrical?

The advantage of cylindrical type is that you can have more surface area with less volume. The flat ones give you less efficiency. Better to go with OilX filters of Domnick Hunter or any suitable alternative.

This filter would be used in a polishing step and not intentend for high efficiency. My preference would be for a cylindrical filter, however for the simplicity of design I would like a flat type filter. Can you point me to any manufacturers of these filters?
