Liquid leaks (Lube oil and Diesel fuel) are very often happening in gas turbines (dual fuel Gas turbines) and can only be detected in turbines by the flame detector when it ignites.

I am looking for explosion proof oil mist detectors that can detect oil leaks before it escalates to fire, I don't find them popular in industry (found only one detector from Emerson) so I am wondering if someone has experience with such detectors installed in turbine enclosures, how effective in detecting oil leaks and immunity to false alarms, Their performance and maintenance under harsh environment conditions (offshore, high temperature and humidity in enclosure)
