old school solidworks 2006 tips for modeling up to surfaces tips please

Hi guys
I have finally got my sw 2006 running back on my modern computer running win7 64 service pack 5.1 32bit but would like to try the 64 bit pack any advice (i have that service pack)
dassult systems was kind enough to allow me to get all the service packs for it (big props to them;-)
the 64 bit service pack is for XP professional but am curious if others have had similar experience will the 64 bit pack run under win 7 64?
Also could I have your advice on producing moulds from surfaces )just done one and it was a nightmare had about 5 goes a getting it to work(it was a boat hull as a surface)and is going to be cut out on a cnc machine.

I don't understand your question 100% about the Win 32/64 OS.

For the mold, you need to make solids from the surfaces. There are a few ways to do this.
