older version of catia part needs to be checked out

Hi everyone,

can anyone explain to me why SmarTeam want to check out an older version on the fly?

I am getting this statement:
More than one revision was found. More than one revision of the same document 'PRT-0001481' was found: 'a.16, a.14'. One of these revisions 'PRT-0001481 a.14' must be checked out. The file associated with the checked out revision will be used.

Does this mean that I will be updating a.14 instead of a.16?
