Hi,

I'm working on a machine that has an Omron CPM 1A PLC in it.

I have the *.SWP file (program for this machine).

I have the programming cable.

I have SYSWIN 3.0. It will not install on any of my computers.

Will SYSWIN 3.4 run on a Windows 7 64 bit system?

Will the *.SWP program work with SYSWIN 3.4?

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the Omron software I need?

Thank you very much,
Glenn

Syswin 3.4 will run on a Windows XP machine. I don't know that it will run on 64 bit Windows , but I doubt it.

I don't know that Syswin 3.0 will install on more modern operating systems, I think its original release was for Windows 95.

If you can get hold of an appropriate install image (or possibly use the Windows XP virtual machine option that is available with higher levels of Windows 7), you might be able to use that to run Syswin. Consider that serial port access can be a bit flaky when running a virtual machine.
Syswin 3.4 should be able to handle the .swp file.

Your other option is to buy CX-Programmer from Omron. This will also be able to process the .swp file and communicate with the PLC.
