Open files from strand7 in straus7

Hi

I use strand 7 at work. I have straus7 at home. I am trying to open a a work file at home on Straus7. It doesn’t let me and says it is not a straus7 file.

Can I open a strand file in straus? Is it possible? If so how?

You would be better asking Strand7 support, but earlier releases of Strand7 won't open files from newer versions, so that might be the issue.

You can save as a Strand7 text file, that should open in any version.

isn't Strand and Strauss the same thing ?

Klaus - that's my understanding. Strauss7 in Europe outside UK. That's why I think it's probably an issue of release number.
