Does anyone know where I can find the shear capacities of oriented strand board as a horizontal diaphragm attached to wood joists?

I looked at this website and I couldn't find any tables that talked about shear capacities. Is there a specific document I should be looking for?

Ch 23 International Building Code. It will based upon Panel Grade, not panel construction. The only difference that I am aware of with OSB is the strength axis is the axis parallel to the OSB face strands, usually the long dimension of the panel unless otherwise indicated.

Like Blake989 said - IBC - Chapter 23 - but it MUST be APA rated. You can buy unrated OSB and/or plywood. Be careful

to add to the above, you can specifically drill down OSB values in the 2005 Manual for engineered wood construction, chapter 9... and in the 2001 NDS supplements.

If APA rated, OSB is no different than plywood.
