Good morning to everyone!

I'm trying to deal with a really simple problem in abaqus but I'm a newbie and I don't know how to solve it.

I have a shell with some S4 elements. I would like to obtain the strain of each S4 in the default coordinate system and to obtain the strain of one of these elements in another coordinate system.

How can I do that? (I know how to do it in Nastran -output in material coordinate system- but not in Abaqus)

Thank you in advance!

Element output is by default in the element/material coordinate system. You can create an additional CSYS in postprocessing and transform the result into that CSYS.
