I have a Question on Overcrowning. I am starting with a simple set of joined surfaces. If I apply dress-up I see a very low amount of control points and segments. The I ones I do see are in the areas of fillets. But after using Shape Morphing or Wrap Curve these surface are highly segmented and load with control points. I knew that there would be some increase of the control points and segments. But is there a way I can limit their size ?. Thanks For your Help Saranac

You can manipulate this using the "converter wizard" in Freestyle workbench.

If you will check your help documents, there is a full write-up on this. Search your computer for a file called "fssugbt0314.htm"

I don't have access to freestyle workbench at this time.
Does the convert wizard change the surfaces from nurbs to bezier type surface. Thanks for your help. I'll talk to the higher up and see if their open to getting freestyle.

Thanks

No, it doesn't change the type of surface, but it does isolate the surface.

Unfortunately, the GSD workbench does not lend itself well to surface modifications of this type. I'm still in shock that certain of these functions are only sold on the Freestyle side, but I guess it's probably just a licensing scheme. (sell more licenses that way)

I probably don't have any room to talk, because if I were in this area of business, I'd probably do the same thing...

Hey, Thanks for the direction. I found the convert wizard in the Healing Assistance Workbench.

Thanks

Yep, you got it there. That should give you what you need.

Good luck
