Hi Everyone,

I work for a multi-national company. We're on a large scale extension of one of our chemical plants. We're in the process of removing our main contractor off site for bad performance. The idea was to put our own team of welders and pipe fitters in to complete the job. Completion also entails doing some of the work from scratch. For Code compliance, can we be regarded as the "maunfacturer" in this instance?

Which Code are you referring to in the above? Also, what Code work are you doing and what Certificate of Authorizaton does your organization possess?

Sure......No problem..........

Absolutely any random group of multinational welders, fitters and riggers can be considered as a manufacturer for Code compliance.

Tell us where this plant is located ?
