Oxyhydrogen combustion in a closed volume

I am currently analyzing a worst case scenario for a project

Put simply, the scenario is this... 1 Liter of oxyhydrogen (in a stoichiometric mixture) is able to build up in a section of PVC pipe and ignite inside of this closed volume. What would be the maximum pressure put on the pipe during the combustion? At the temperature that the pipe will be operating, it is rated to withstand a constant 50 psi. From my calculations, it looks like the pressure spike will surpass this, so I'm also interested to know how a pressure spike like this will affect the pipe versus a constant pressure.

Detonation pressure can be estimated using the Chapman Jouguet equations, see:
