P12 Dynamo casting

I have a drawing that list "P12 Dynamo" as the material and I can't find any chemical specs for this material (used in an electromagnetic application). Due to the age of the drawing I assume that this material is a propriety material that has since been obsoleted. I need to update this drawing to a current ASTM/ANSI specification. Any info would be appreciated.

I don't think that is an alloy designation, but rather a processing grade or level of electrical steel.

For what it's worth, I was able to find a listing of three "Dynamo" steels in my Woldman's book - Engineering Alloy Names and Properties, 1954 Edition. The Dynamo alloys contained high carbon (0.9% C, 1-2% Si and the balance Fe), and were listed as electrical use steels.

There was no P12 prefix for the Dynamo alloys, I found only E1, E2 Dynamo steels.
