Paper Cutters and foil

Had to post again to correct my spelling and specify a little more. We currently operate a Harris-Seybold Citation paper cutter in our workplace. Is there any reason not to cut .003 and .005 aluminum foil down to a working sheet size on this machine? Was it designed to handle this? The foil actually consists of a 1 mill layer of aluminum foil plus a polyester backer to make up the difference in thickness.
