Hi, I am having trouble getting a good cut on 1mm galvanized steel on a Trumpf TruLaser 2030. I need help with parameters.
I get fine burr on the bottom of the cut edge and cannot get a fine cut without slowing it right down. Trying to cut with nitrogen, 5" lens. Also tried 7" lens. Played with focal, feed rate, gas pressure, different nozzle diameters. When cutting at low speed it makes a horrid high pitch noise as it cuts, which gets quieter as the feed rate is increased but cut quality is reduced (cut edge almost looks like it has been ripped, along with burr on bottom edge).
I have almost no issues with any other type of material.
