Hi everybody,
I order to have a fully parametric model in Autodesk Inventor, sometimes it is needed to have different sizes of a part (e.g. bolt) from Content Center, based on the result of a calculation or corresponding dimension from another part. Does anybody have any experience in this regard? Is it possible to select from Content Center, parametrically?

McDermott1711,

Quite simply, if you inserted a part from the Content Center then you can replace it with a different size Content Center fastener. All corresponding design accelerator parts will update automatically. Depending on how you have the bolting constrained to your assembly, you may have to reattach some constraints. Mostly, if the parts you insert to replace outdated fasteners are of similar size and thread class, etc., constraints should not be an issue.

Good luck!
