Good afternoon,

Anyone know if there is a way to parametrise values that are created from the analysis tools?

I am specifically looks at parametrising face curvature in order to smooth a surface that I have generated.

Kind Regards,

Hi Chris.

Are you expecting the analysis tools to affect your geometry somehow? Analysis tools (to my understanding) are for analyzing the result that you achieve with modeling tools. Not vice versa. I believe they can be parametric but only in the sense that when you change the feature then the analysis will change as well. This would be a downwards cascading parametric flow where the analysis case comes later after the modeling.

Please clarify a bit more on what you are wanting.

Hi Felix,

I was hoping that there may be a way to parameterise the minimum radius generated from the face curvature analysis so that I can run an iterative solver which increases the value of the minimum radius parameter, thereby smoothing the final geometry produced.

If you or anyone else on this forum knows of an effective a way to do this, or a smoothing tool that can achieve a similar result your help is greatly appreciated!
