Not sure I'm explaining this correctly, but is there a way to create an 'assembly' file and then individual part files with draftsight?
My best example and reason for asking this question:
I have a plant layout I'm working on that includes 4 very large condos. As we begin to plan and populate our condos within CAD, our files is getting larger by the day. Currently, our entire building is part of the same document, so if you want to go in and work on Condo A, you must open the entire building layout. My goal is to generate individual condo files so that you don't have to open everything at once. But I'd also like to have a full building layout file which has all the condos in there. Is this possible with Draftsight? I could do this in half a second with Solidworks, just a little rusty in AutoCAD and DS.
