Part family question..Making a part family of a shaft. There are about a dozen members..there are 2 Groove features that are in two of the members. So for the other ten I say no in the column for that Feature. the diameter of the grooves are different in each of the other two grooves so there is a column for groove1 dia and groove2 dia.; putting a zero in results in a warning
"object rectangular groove in member xyz produced an update warning" This warning has been accepted and update will continue,
update error RECTANGULAR_Groove (22)
in part xyz
INVALID rectangular Groove diameter"
it does update but throws a string of error messages for 36 grooves..
Leaving blank does also..so what is the correct entry for that column?

thank you

Even if the feature is suppressed, it has to have valid parameters, so just put some numbers in there that WOULD HAVE worked IF the groove had actually been there.
