i m an intern at a contruction contractor, and i was assigned to a bridge construction project. The objective is to partially destroy the bridge without damaging the rest in order to keep traffic flowing. i need some documentation (standards, codes or anything...)about how this kind of process. ( language : english or frensh)

It's simple. You just need to figure out what members support or provide stability to the portion that remains and not remove them.
THAT'S A JOKE. Maybe you're the smartest intern that ever interned, but this is a job for a very experienced engineer.
