Dr Dan Jones wrote a couple of articles in Chemical processing apparently in Nov 2002 and Dec 2003, about exact calculations of the partial volume contained in horizontal cylindrical tanks with different end types. Unfortunately I cannot get back copies of the magazines, and his old email address (@degussa.com) no longer works.

Does anyone have either copies of these two articles or his current email address so I might be able to contact him?
Cheers
James

Thanks guys,
Turns out I had both those articles, but the links I got them from did not specify that they were the original articles from the magazine (which is what I was after).

I hadn't seen quarks link, however, the excel SS's there might be of great assistance in validating my own SS.

Great stuff guys, thank you very much. I can see this forum being very useful to me (and hopefully me to it!)
