hi
i am trying to impor the pressure distribution from Fluent so i created a csv file.
i tried later on to import the csv file in patran, but the number of column, which are: x and y coord and for the third one the pressure value at that point. i dont know how to import that file and succesfully create the spatial field. any help would be appreciated

In fluent you can map your pressure on a Nastran imported structural mesh - that would be easier.

Workflow:

- Import Nastran mesh to Fluent via the mapping tool (Fluent: File/FSI Mapping/Surface).
- Map pressures, forces and temperatures from the CFD mesh onto the imported Nastran mesh.
- Export Natsran mesh with imposed/mapped pressures, forces and temperatures, and import it back into Nastran/Patran.

hello! i am really glad you helped. i wouldn't have figured it out without you, it worked. thank you so much!
