hello. I am doing modal analysis with SOL103 of MSC Patran/Nastran.

If the displacement result of mode 1 is selected after analysis with Nastran, it is divided into rotation and translation as shown in the picture below. Can I superposition this movement as a single movement?

Looking at the manual, I found a way to plot each T and R movement of mode 1 at the same time, but I couldn't find a way to display it as one movement by superposition it.

I normally only plot the translation for this type of result to visualize the displacement if the structure. Patran will display the nodes according to the x,y,z eigenevector results.

thank you for Advice!! sol103 was performed for flutter analysis. May I ask additional questions?
As you said, in many papers the analysis mainly considers translation only. However, some consider rotational components as well.

When is rotation information considered? In my analysis result, translation is distributed from E+00 to E-01, and the eigenvalues in the rotation direction are distributed from E-03 to E-19.
