Hi,
My client needs me to build a crane pad for lifting a 22-ton tank and a pavement piece for various permitted bearing pressures (900 Kpa, 600 Kpa, and 300 Kpa). The overall weight of the crane, including the counterweight, is 169.5t. Additionally, a 3 m depth of sandy clay is mentioned in the geotechnical report of the location. Kindly provide me a link to the resources that may be used as a guide for designing the pavement sections. The reference output results are attached below.

Do you have any references for design steps to be followed for concrete with subbase pavement design (selecting the thickness of each layer) having a subgrade of CBR 3.

I dont think this is a pavement design. It is a bearing capacity assessment of the bearing pads of the crane, I presume its an outrigger crane?

Yes, EireChch. It's an outrigger crane with four pad sizes of 2.5m x 2m each. I have to design a soil profile with the thickness of each layer, below the crane pad.
