PCI 8 Point Pick Recommendation

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the 8 point pick recommended spacing for precast in the PCI manual? I have a precast slab where we will need to do an edge pick and it will exceed the spacing for an 8 point pick as shown in the PCI manual and I am wondering if anyone has done that and what the implications are. Specified pick points are located to minimize bending stress, which reduces the chance of cracking.
