pdf trouble ...Catia V5 R16 SP4

Hi all,

we use Catia V5 R16 SP4 .
Some of our catdrawings can not generate clean pdf :
some caracters change :
é -> a diameter sympobl
è -> a L with a stroke
à -> a square

Can somebody help me?

The same thing happens for the "plus or minus" symbol. (to denote tolerances) It changes to a "minus" sign.

It's a bug. Not sure if it's been logged, but it's a known problem.

There is a bug in R16 with the "plus or minus" tolerance symbol not showing up right when you do a "Save As" to PDF.

Its covered by APAR HD48399 and should be fixed in R16SP3.

But not sure about the other errors.

Still got the "plus or minus" error in SP4.

The others are language based fonts, so someone who is not a native english typist may have to answer the question...

Not sure why it doesn't work right on your machine. R16SP4 solved the problem on my machine.

my computer is installed with an english win xp sp2
Catia R16 has a level of SP : 4
My language for imput keyboard (OS) is Frecnh
I do a test with a total english configuration -> same bugs

may be the file has been done on a previous SP
