Attached is a screenshot of some files that have somehow made their way to our vault. The names resemble something like a system process - but I really don't have enough knowledge of PDM Works to say what they are and how they got there.

As well, about half of the files have become shortcuts, and the corresponding original file is inaccessible for checkout or ownership.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? We are at the verge of starting from scratch and reloading the Vault, I just wanted to come here to see if there were any other avenues I could follow before re-installation.

JNAnthony,
It looks to me like the “Type” Unknown files are PDMWorks Workgroup Settings. If you open your VaultAdmin tool you will see what I mean. You should get your VAR involved. Your vault is showing things in the PDMWorks Workgroup project area that should not show. Looks like the “pneu” Vault is not set with the correct permissions.

Can you open the file ALLOW_BUMP_PROJECTS? Look at the history and see who checked the files and when.
Let me know what you find out.

I could not find ALLOW_BUMP_PROJECTS, is it ALLOW_BUMP_REVISION?

I'm most definitely going to call the VAR tomorrow.

Yes your right, I typed in the wrong name.

Look at the history or ALLOW_BUMP_REVISION and see who checked in the files and when.
Let me know what you find out. If there is no history then some setting in the vault is wrong.
