PDMWorks Slow Check-in

We are experiencing a slow check-in time on assemblies that have toolbox references. What I have found on our testing is the hang occurs when it is sending the final upper level assembly to the vault not the fasteners. The reason I believe toolbox to be a part of the problem is that if I reference the fasteners locally rather than across the network the assembly will check into the vault in a reasonable amount of time. I am talking about a difference in time of a couple of minutes to 15 minutes. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this kind of problem?

Specs, version (SP of SW and PDMworks), Type of networks (Novell or windows 2003 server).

In addition to what Scott is asking, what are your settings for copying toolbox files to the vault? That could have an impact on performance.
